Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center (ISTC) launches the first Summer School for High School Students. It is our great pleasure to invite all motivated high schoolers of 10-12 grades to be part of an amazing educational program starting out in June 15, 2017.
The program is open for all students of ALL high schools of RA ! Certificates will be granted to students who complete the summer school.
During the classes students will get a deep understanding of Mathematics, and will get acquainted with Programming and the basics of Python Programming Language. Within the summer program we will have several workshops dedicated to Cyber Security. Students will have the chance to meet successful programmers, startupers and will become part of our awesome student community.
Target Group: High School Students 10-12 grades
Duration: 2 months, June 15 – August 15
Timing: 15:00 – 17:00, 4 times per week
Price: 20 000 per month (high school students only)
Deadline for Applications: June 10, 2017
Prerequisites: Knowledge of Mathematics , thinking skills, motivation !!! Knowledge of English is a plus.
A program is a set of instructions that tell the computer to do various things; sometimes the instruction it has to perform depends on what happened when it performed a previous instruction. As human languages are too difficult for a computer to understand in an unambiguous way, commands are usually written in one or other languages specially designed for the purpose. This course will introduce you to the fundamental principles of programming languages and it will help you think like a software engineer.
Python is a widely used high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability, and its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than possible in other languages. Python is great for backend web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and scientific computing. Many developers have also used Python to build productivity tools, games, and desktop and mobile apps.

UNIX is everywhere, and TCP/IP connects it all along, yet, the lack of security in these boxes is what makes our multi-billion-dollar-cat-gif-transferring place vulnerable to bad hackers. In this course you will learn how Unix works, basics of networking, and the lack of security in this field, yet trying to learn all type of old-school way of mitigations up to new modern mitigation techniques.

Mathematics is the study of topics such as quantity (numbers), structure, space,] and change. There is a range of views among mathematicians and philosophers as to the exact scope and definition of mathematics. Pure mathematics is concerned with the exploration of mathematical concepts arising initially from the study of space and number. In order to capture and communicate mathematical ideas we must make statements about mathematical objects and much mathematical activity can be described as the formulation of mathematical statements and then the determination of whether or not such statements are true or false.
