ISTC and Enterprise Incubator Foundation are starting a security engineering training for high school students to prepare cyber security field experts in the framework of CyHub Initiative.
As part of the course, students of pre-conscription age have the opportunity to
gain knowledge and skills that will help them become competitive
specialists with high professional qualifications.
Introduction to Computer Science
During this stage we will learn the basics of a computer, the history of computer science and how modern computers work. Also, we will discuss algorithms, Hardware, binary and Boolean systems.
Introduction to Operating Systems
During this stage we will explore the operating systems, focusing on UNIX-like systems (Linux, BSD) with an overview of other modern commercial OS like Windows and macOS. C and Python programming languages, as well as file systems, CPU scheduling, I/O devices will be discussed as well.
Introduction to Computer Networks
During this stage we will learn the basics of modern computer networks, focusing on practice in UNIX-like and commercial grade hardware (Cisco, Juniper). The stage will also include LAN Switching and Routing Technologies, Infrastructure Services, Security and Management.
Introduction to Computer Security
During the stage we will learn the basics of computer security, theoretically by learning the history of InfoSec and practically by exploiting the knowledge gained at previous classes and participating in online Capture the Flag competitions.
Top candidates based on their academic progress will receive respectively 30%, 50%, 95% percent reimbursement on their tuition fee.
